Billing and refunds
- Free trial: 30 days, and nothing is charged. Cancel before it ends and you pay nothing.
- Canceling: anytime from Settings → Plan & Billing. Your plan runs to the end of the period you've paid for.
- Monthly ($14.99): no refunds for part of a month.
- Annual ($129): a full refund if you ask within 14 days of the charge.
- Charged by mistake? We'll refund it in full.
Common questions
Do I need a card to start the trial?
Yes. We ask for a card up front so your account carries on without a gap, but nothing is charged for 30 days. Cancel before then from Settings and you pay nothing.
What happens when the trial ends?
Your plan starts on the card you saved: $14.99 a month, or $129 a year if you chose annual. The header counts down the days so it's never a surprise.
Can I switch between monthly and annual?
Anytime, from Settings → Plan & Billing. That's also where you update your card, cancel, and download receipts.
Can my clients pay online?
Yes. Add your own payment link (Stripe, PayPal, Square, anything with a URL) and every invoice gets a Pay Now button. Your bank details can print on the invoice for wires and ACH too.
Can I bill in tenths of an hour?
Yes, the way lawyers and accountants do. Round to 6, 10, 15 or 30 minutes, up, down or to the nearest. Each client or case can carry its own retainer.
What if I cancel?
Canceling stops future charges, and your account stays as you left it. Come back anytime and pick up where you were.
When is Teams coming?
It's being built now. Start on Solo; when Teams arrives, your clients, time and invoices come with you.
