Refund Policy

Every new account starts with a 30-day free trial. We save your card when you start, but we don't charge it during the trial. Cancel any time before the trial ends, from Settings → Plan & Billing, and you won't be charged anything. The app shows how many days you have left, so the first charge is never a surprise.

You can cancel your plan whenever you like from Settings → Plan & Billing. When you cancel, your plan stays active until the end of the period you've already paid for, and it won't renew after that. Your account and data stay as you left them, so you can come back later.

Monthly payments aren't refundable, and we don't give refunds or credits for unused days in a month. After you cancel, you keep full access until the end of the month you've paid for.

If you're charged for a year of EscBooks, including the first charge after your trial or an automatic renewal, and you don't want it, email us within 14 days of the charge. We'll refund it in full and end your plan.

After 14 days, annual payments aren't refundable. You can still cancel at any time to stop the next renewal, and you keep access until the end of the year you've paid for.

You can switch plans from Settings → Plan & Billing. When you switch, the unused part of your current plan is credited against the new one automatically, so you never pay twice for the same time.

If you were charged twice, charged after you canceled, or charged the wrong amount, tell us and we'll refund the mistaken charge in full, whenever it happened.

Email support@escbooks.com from the email address on your EscBooks account, and tell us which charge it's about. We aim to reply within two business days. Approved refunds go back to the card you paid with. Your bank usually shows them within 5–10 business days.
